An 1801 Pattern Flintlock Sea Service Pistol.  12" barrel of .56" bore with small King’s proof marks with remains of front and rear bead sights. Barrel tang with crown inspection mark. This pattern of pistol was extensively used at the Battle of Trafalgar. There are many ‘aged’ modern copies of this pattern. However, this pistol is original.
